The newly emerging model of human functioning has evolved from including body, then mind and emotions to including consciousness. Not limited to the brain and central nervous system, consciousness is seen as an intrinsic aspect of the entire being. Collectively, these levels of our experience are expressed as an energy field that is called bioenergy. This energy field, also known as the aura, can be measured and has electrostatic, magnetic, electromagnetic, sonic, thermal and visual components. These measurements show that the aura has a fluid motion like that of air and water and is composed of charged particles which move together following certain physical laws that suggest a state between energy and matter.
Matter and energy, according to quantum physics, are two forms of the same thing. The levels of our energy field act as templates for the different aspects of our experience. If there are imbalances, blocks or gaps in the bioenergy, these will manifest in the form of imbalances, disruptions and disease in our physical experience. Chronic health problems are generally the result of a long term imbalance in the human energy field.
“An elementary particle
is not an independently existing, unanalyzable entity.
It is, in essence, a set of relationships that reach outward to other things.”
H.P. Stapp,
twentieth-century physicist
